I like making things go! At the moment, I’m SVP of Technical Operations at Etsy.

I’ve worked at Flickr, Friendster, InfoWorld, Salon, Genentech, Volpe National Transportation Center, and a bunch of other places as a consultant from time to time.

This blog is meant to be about geeky things like web operations, capacity planning, etc.

I’ve given some talks in the past about these things, and I wrote some books on them as well:
